Other than fishing, springtime in Georgia can only mean one thing: turkey hunting! Thus, the Turkeyrama® was born! In 1993, the first Turkeyrama® opened in Perry, Georgia. Held the same weekend as the popular Fisharama®, the Turkeyrama® provides not only turkey hunters but small game hunters a one-stop shop for everything needed for their favorite sport. There is also entertainment and serious competition at the Grand America Turkey Calling Contest and the Call Makers Gallery and Competition. The thirteen year history of the Georgia Wildlife Federation Turkeyrama® is proof that this show is a winner.
