Dear GWF Show Exhibitor:
In 1936 a group of conservation-minded sportsmen founded the Georgia Wildlife Federation. They strongly believed that the future of hunting and fishing was dependent upon the sustainability of our natural resources. Today Georgia Wildlife Federation continues the mission of conserving our natural resources and safeguarding our outdoor heritage through sound management and education. Key programs of GWF include the Camo Coalition; Hunter Safety Education; legislative monitoring of the Georgia General Assembly and U.S. Congress; and coordination of the Governor’s Hunt for the Hungry. Our continuous support of wildlife education in schools and assistance to handicapped sportsmen all play an important, integral role in the protection of our outdoor traditions. These programs continue to grow and flourish throughout Georgia.
The hunting, fishing, and outdoor shows produced and hosted by the Georgia Wildlife Federation provide much needed funding for many of these programs. These shows continue to be among the most popular in the United States, thanks to the strong support of our exhibitors and Georgia’s solid sportsmen’s traditions. Georgia is one of the largest and strongest markets in the country, with over 450,000 resident hunters and 1.2 million anglers. Both small and big game hunting opportunities are available, and the fishing industry, both freshwater and saltwater, is booming. The success of these industries is directly related to the health and diversity of Georgia’s fish and wildlife habitats and the work by the Georgia Wildlife Federation to protect our outdoor traditions.
Georgia Wildlife Federation has an impressive track record of 85 successful hunting and fishing consumer shows, due in large part to the services of 18-year GWF Show Director, Doug Rithmire. Doug and the rest of the GWF staff will continue to work diligently to make your participation at one of our shows a memorable and profitable experience. You have our commitment to generate maximum customer traffic while maintaining the high standards of our shows and the Georgia Wildlife Federation’s mission of conserving Georgia’s sustainable resources and our hunting and fishing heritage.
Call Georgia Wildlife Federation today, and let us answer your questions. We hope you and your company will be a part of our shows and our hunting and fishing future.
Sincerely,
Jerry L. McCollum
President and CEO
