Shows < Turkeyrama < Call Makers Competition
The Georgia Wildlife Federation (GWF) in partnership with the Georgia Chapter National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) will be hosting the Second Annual Georgia State Championship and GWF Open Championship Call Makers Contest at our annual Great Outdoors Show in Perry, GA. at the Georgia National Fairgrounds. We would like to again thank each of you that helped to make last year’s event such a huge success, with over 190 custom calls entered in the different divisions. We invite all call makers to participate in the 2008 event.
GWF has made a decision to combine the Atlanta and Perry shows in order that we might accommodate our special events, such as the Call Makers Competition and the Grand America Turkey Calling Contest in one location. The Heritage Hall will be dedicated to turkey call and hunting related product vendors. The Call Makers Competition, judging, and display will be in The Georgia building with plenty of room to present the calls in a deserving way. This will be a great opportunity for call makers to display their unique skills for the public to view, appreciate, and receive well deserved recognition.
