The Fare Thee Well Foundation is proud to announce the 2008 The Day Celebration music festival in (the real) Buckhead, Georgia. The Day Celebration was started by old friends with a longing for the intimate music festivals of the 60’s and 70’s and a desire to give back to their regional community. The Day celebrates just that: good friends, enjoying a seminal music experience in an intimate setting, with proceeds donated to several worthy charities, including Georgia Wildlife Federation. To ensure an environment full of camp jams and artist interaction, the number of tickets is limited but by no means is the venue or talent. This two-day event will bring together like-minded souls in an atmosphere of thanksgiving, good vibes and an eclectic mix of national and regional touring artists. As we see it, it’s a beautiful marriage of the things we hold dear. Come join the magic and help celebrate The Day!
The Fare Thee Well Foundation's mission is to fuse our pride for regional community with our love of the arts under the beautiful tapestry of Georgia’s rolling Piedmont hills. We give thanks for the richness of our lives and are committed to giving back to our communities by supporting those who are most in need. The Fare Thee Well Foundation is dedicated to promoting a clean environment, battling local hunger and providing medical care for one of the most devastating childhood diseases afflicting our communities. We hope that by creating an environment of appreciation for the arts, surrounded by the beauty of “God’s Country,” we may nourish a growing movement of philanthropy and civic responsibility in all those we touch.
Georgia Wildlife Federation
The Fare Thee Well Foundation is concerned about runaway development in Georgia, water and air pollution and the loss of wildlife habitat. So, it’s only natural (smile) that we support the Georgia Wildlife Federation!
